Other than a few embellishments, exaggerations, and outright lies, the following could be a true story. I can't remember if I was the bartender or the rum drinker
"Rum", I told him, "please pour me some rum"
"I'll need to see I.D. before you get rum"
And though I'm just fourteen I hand him my mum's
It says I'm fifty three with hair to my bum, I just play dumb, barkeep says "Hummmmm"
But he honors it and pours me some rum
Here it comes
Little tipsy, I drink some more rum
I am a poor boy too, I drink the cheap rum
I have no cash to tip, the barkeep's quite glum
I feel just like a King, I drink some more rum, then some more rum, needing some Tums
Soon, I need the loo, I'm nauseous and bummed
From that rum
Did not make it, I up-chuck the rum
Break-fast and lunch come too, along with my gum
Bartender's sprayed with puke, we started to scrum
He knees me in the crotch, and breaks both my thumbs, beat like a drum, till the cops come
Ice on my scro-tum, my nuts are still numb
