Once you get the original's rhythm onto this it's very catchy - point of grammar tho - not one single Frenchman "HAS" died in Iraq - not that I'm picky, coz I'm giving you 5s anyway :-)

I wrote this rather late and somewhat tired and not until I was about to post it did I realise that I was singing to myself with a Swedish pronounciation off the word "Iraq". We spell it "Irak" and put the emphasis very hard on the second syllable, let the r in embark be silent and you have a perfect rhyme right there.
This is not an excuse, just an explanation.
Stuart: I guess it must be at least two dead Frenchmen before it becomes "They have" then?
Actually, this is the kind of grammar mistake I do now and then, I'll blame my foreign heritage, but please feel free to continue to point them out, my ego's too small to be hurt and even if it was as big as my modesty or my reproductive unit it's (fucking up in public) still the best way to learn. A truthful song, though irrelevant to anything and everything. Thousands of Frenchies died right at home during the heat wave, and their deaths were entirely preventable. If that's how well they manage their own country, we should be grateful they're not managing Iraq.

Osama bin Laden is certainly relieved that the US went to Iraq, because if they hadn't, he probably would have been caught by now. Whether or not the French had troops embroiled in a country that had nothing to do with Osama bin Laden would have made bin Laden happy or sad is a peculiar question. It's like asking if President William McKinley would have been happy or sad about the effect on the Spanish American War if France had sent troops to fight with Britain in the Boer War. Hello!? Iraq and 9/11 -- not related. In fact, the US invasion of Iraq in '02 was and is probably illegal.

Osama has nothing to do with Iraq, and there arn't french dying because they were smart enough not to illegally invade a sovereign nation with no cause of provocation. Even the "Allies" know it was stupid which is why any state has more troop deployed then any other country in the so-called coalition. It is nice to see dion know facts.
