As more and more of amiright's best writers are no longer submitting their material, it's way too easy to despair for the future of this site. One bright spot is that many of the newer contributors (and a few remaining veterans who won't be intimidated) are stepping up with authority. Maybe Chuck won't have to pull the plug on this wonderful place after all. ;D

It's too bad that so many veteran writers have jumped ship... the most longstanding writers in semi-regular attendance (parodies and comments) are probably me, John Barry, Conqueror of Parodies, Michael Pacholek and 2Eagle. Phil Nelson was here to some extent from 2005-07 IIRC, but jumped back in this year.
Excellent job here, and hopefully veteran writers will return, I've been successful at rekindling interest in other forums and blogs I'm on, maybe I'll get people interested in Amiright again. 5s.

Thanks for the mention! Yeah, like Andria said, I used to be here a lot and now I am again. An undisclosed state stifled my creativity for a while. Don't know what happened to a lot of the old writers, guess they ran out of material or got bored or something. 5's

Just my luck that the ones you mention who have recently stopped posting are the ones who use the OS's that I mainly know.
Spare time can also be a factor. I posted about 70 during a 7 month period last year, but ony 9 in the 7 months since then.

Nice to see you writing again! Great parody as always! Yeah, it's a shame that some of those best parody writers leave AIR and on hiatus. And I used to go on the site like crazy and comment on others parodies, but I just couldn't seem to find the time anymore. But this time, I'm working on a few parodies, which is one of the reasons I don't v/c as much. But I haven't forgotten about you or everybody else on this site. I still love everybody here! Hope you still keep on keepin' on with your parodies! As Warren says, don't let onesters get you down! Here I give you 5's!
