Continuing my quest to parody all the songs from "My Fair Lady," a show I had a bit part in in junior high, in a bid to become the first Amirighter to parody an entire Broadway musical's soundtrack.
Head, head, such spinning in my head!
My head's so light, I can't keep dinner down!
Step, step upon her toes tonight!
See her grimace, grumble, gripe and frown!
I couldn't dance, all right.
I coudln't dance, all right.
And no one begged for more.
I could have spread my schleps
and done a thousand steps.
They'd kick me off the floor.
I'll never know what made it so distressing
when all at once, I could not fly.
I only know when she
began to swear at me
I couldn't dance, dance, dance, all right.
