Every farm boy,
Knows cud is what the cattle chew chew
Grass from the pass
They eat and regurge the mass
As they enjoy
Some soy..they give their cud a chew chew
They'll grind it strong,
And chew it eight hours long..

You see 'em grazin' in the pasture
With a posture so fine
Mystique and quite unique
In the way that they dine..
Each cow has three tummys
To digest their yummys
Tho' they may look stupid,
Cattle are no dummys...

Watch 'em as their standin' at a stall in the barn
Lickin' up the protein added to their ground corn
Fat tongues will be rollin'
Digestively controllin'
What a "Cud-a-boogie"..Golly, Darn

Relaxed, are they,
And rarely suffer constipation
Cool, easy pace
No tension shows on their face..

Switchin' their tails
So often tangled and could use a comb
Their cud is what they chew chew.
