The original came out in late 1958. Let's see, there's alcoholism, cocaine, DWI, Harken, Funeralgate, trashing John McCain, Bob Jones University, the stolen election, appointing John Ashcroft, cutting taxes on the rich, letting 3 million jobs just vanish, the biggest budget deficits in the history of the planet, letting lobbyists write environmental bills, allowing 9/11 to happen (which really should count for 16 all by itself), trashing Max Cleland, going to war in Iraq for no good reason (which really should count for at least a dozen). That's 16 scandals. All far worse than anything that could be proven against ol' What's His Name. You know, the New York Senator's husband. And that's not even counting trading Sammy Sosa away!
No more Earth Day! No more Earth Day, baby, oh, George Bush must go!
Sixteen scandals have now come to light.
Dubya ain't bright, and he lies tonight!

Third, it's not the "16 words" that we're concerned about, it's their content: A big fat stinking Bush lie in front of the entire world. Fourth, Bush is such a loser that he won't even eat his own crow, making George Tenet eat it. Fifth, as Chandler would say on "Friends," Bush's big fat lie is not out of the blue, it's right smack in the middle of the blue! Finally, if Roy Orbison were alive today, he'd be just as ashamed as the Dixie Chicks that "the President of the United States" is from his home State of Texas.
And let me respond in kind - Your's is NOT FUNNY either but at least mine was original. So don't harp on anyone like you have the next time someone steps on one of your songs. You should really practice what you preach.
