Thanks, OMR. Why one would want to put something that tastes remarkably like Syrup of Ipecac into Coca-Cola, gingerale and cocktails and onto fruit, let alone drink as a straight liquor, is beyond me. I recall eating too much Everclear-saturated watermelon that night, and Everclear makes people do strange things.
Good ode to getting talked into consuming something nasty. Now try absinthe.

Angostura bitters *are* pretty horrible, even mixed with something that isn't. GG Allin - that's not a name you see everyday here, lol. I did a parody of one of his songs a while ago - I think drinking AB is easier than swallowing his music. I bet he would have liked them - there is a video of him drinking urine fresh from the tap... 5s

I went to that Angostura site and discovered most of those recipes for cocktail drinks and enrees. Speaking of Angostura, I actually went to this Caribbean restaurant where I had this Jerk Chicken and Ribs that are seasoned with Angostura. That explained why it tasted funny. I heard this OS the first time and I loved it! I sure know I would not be caught dead drinking it straight! Great parody and 5's!!
