My music hobby is performing old songs (mainly 30’s through 70’s). I write funny parodies for some of them. I change the song’s serious theme to something funny but retain original lyrics and rhyme as much as possible. This one got started by changing the song theme from "love me tender" to "break my finger".

I did my time in the tower of Dark Loneliness, Sir; and it t still pains me so!
This was quite bizarre, and enjoyable :) "Drop me down a mine" seemed a tad extreme, but it made me laugh :)
