North America's hope for the 2016 Olympics quickly changed to despair despite a pitch by the USA's First Couple. This OS was an obvious but difficult vehicle for a fiiting eulogy.
Wonderful One went to Copenhagen,
Fancied a pearl for his crown,
Wreathed in haloed light
On his merry flight,
Thought he'd wink and sink one down. #
In stunning grand wonderland Copenhagen,
Faulty cold mean IOC *
Said he failed to sway,

This is marvelous! Lots of good lines, but the 2nd verse was a particular fave. :D [And it's increasingly evident that "the king is in the altogether"...]
Haha! Good shot! On the downside, Eric Holder was in Chicago today to pave the way for more millions of taxpayer money into the city to "fight youth violence." Anyone want to get up a game of midnight basketball? ;-)
Thanks to all C/Vs. You win trips to Brazil in 2016. Rio is the future; Chicago is the past. All those O's couldn't change that decision.
