The last line could be "Seat in jail". I'd also change "grab" to "reap", the fruit of "sow".
Good stuff, Barry. I know that Illinois has had some Red graft, too; but I did like the "Old graft, new graft/
Every kind of Blue graft" couplet.
Love it! It's a wonderful song, by a wonderful song writer, of course. And it's ripe territory for your treatment. Plus, it's nice to see Blago get what was coming to him.
