Nothing more I'm needing when I do my amireading
In the morning.
All the world's amusing while this site I am perusing
Ev'ry morning.
I feel some slight terrors
As my songs I see,
Checking my work for errors.
How did they get past me?

While my wife is snoring I can catch up on my scoring
Here at sunrise.
She has said "Go back to bed! You're such a stupid dunderhead!"
I'm not wise.
As I read each fine new post - she's hearing me chat.
I ask "Why didn't I think of that?"
I get very squirrelly reading amiright so early
In the morning.

You won't hear me quibbling 'cause it won't be Old Man Ribbling
If I do it.
Won't be oversleeping. - if I do I will be weeping.
I eschew it.
There is only one thing that can spoil all this fun:
That's if I get an undeserved "one".
