I'm too young to remember the '80s, back when MTV played actual music videos instead of the tragic reality shows on now, but I love '80s music videos. This offers a synopsis of three '80s videos that I consider classics. In this order, the videos described are: "Rio" by Duran Duran, "Material Girl" by Madonna, and "Fantasy" by Aldo Nova. The latter may be less familiar, but it's a great video. Note: This could also be considered a parody of Weird Al's "Headline News". Don't comment reminding me of that.
Once there was this band who
Took a trip to Antigua and brought along their spray paint

But who names their kid that?

Splendid...but so soon, it ended
I love the 80's and I love those 80's music vids as well. I love vids from Madonna, The Clash, Bananarama, ABC, Rick Springfield, Talking Heads....everything too numerous to mention! Oh and how about 'Mickey' cheerleader, eh? I enjoyed my tyke years in the 80s as well. Wished that I could go back to that time again!
