The Lyrics
Agrimorfee's Attic is a series of song parodies that I wrote in the past that I have not dared submit as "official" Amiright material for a variety of reasons. In this very early work, I took huge liberties with the rules of parody writing and used at least one line of each of the original verses and chorus. At the time, my 13 year-old mind considered it artistic license. Now, my 30-something mind calls it plagiarism.

Lonely driver, out on the road
Doin' 'bout 110 or so
Coughs and heaves, I now grieve
Pretty soon he'll crash, I believe (Chorus)
In the audience, watching a show
Takes a smoke but knows he shouldn't
(knows he shouldn't, knows he shouldn't!)
Bet you 10 minutes that the popcorn will be gorged
And the whole place will be scorched

And then there's bad breath, and the stains from the nicotine
The crummy old smoke makes everyone turn green
Smoke it away, smoke it away!
After hours, late in the bar
A guy wants to buy a cigar
Faded flowers, wilt in a jar
