You make it sound like being an elf is a bad thing.

Being short and adorable has its advantages, actually...I'm pretty sure Mr. Pacholek wouldn't mind me nearly as irresistible if I were over 5'4". ; )

As for the parody...this was fun...nice work!

Celine Dion actually first sang All By Myself (Eric Carmen's version, which was from the 70s) in the linen closet of her beach house in Antarctica while no one was home. I took the date from that performance.

(SOTM) DKTOS, but it seems to me that the parody is much better than TOS. Not one of her best songs, from what I'm hearing ("MHWGO" still takes the cake.. if only because of Titanic). I expected some Tolkien and D&D references, but it was still great. 5 feet and 5.5 inches to grow on!

I think you were channeling the parodist Arwen (who commented on this above) while writing this parody. If I didn't know any better I would have thought that she wrote this one under a different name and submitted it, lol. But I know she's not that shady, and what I'm trying to say is that this was really good. Arwen-level good.

Cindy, that claim is dubious. I don't think she even learnt to speak English till the 80s. I know that Eric Carmen's version is the original; Wiki even says so.

Jonathan I was being sarcastic. Celine Dion does not have a beach house or a linen closet in Antarctica, and surely wouldn't be singing in it at any age. And if she did, I wouldn't know about it unless I was her pet penguin. Which I am.
