he conquered the itch, man
he halted his skid
dropped smack flat...and that old monkey fled

came back into town, about a week ago
bought myself a ticket, and sure dug his show
he's over fifty-five, lord, but not over the hill
did "waitin' for my man" and it gave me a chill
