The Lyrics
As I mentioned, I'm a real stickler for road safety. I buckle up, forget about my phone and don't drive under the influence. Granted, I do drive a few miles over the posted speed limit, but really, there's a difference between what's posted and what's practical. Even so, I've had it so far up to here with bad drivers that I decided to do a second parody about road safety. TRIVIA: I was originally gonna do a parody of this song about a news anchor who swore on the air, but I figured this was a better idea. Enjoy the parody!
Drivers gathered in their masses,
Acting like a bunch of asses,
Feeble minds that cause destruction,
Speeding through the road construction,
On the roads, the vehicles burning,
As the factories keep churning,
Death, indifference to mankind,
What is going through their minds?
Oh, Lord yeah!
Speeding drivers try to get their way,
They only gunked up the roads.
Why should they try to slow down?
It’s not like their cars will explode!
Yeah!
God will punish their reckless ways,
Crashing cars just for fun.
Treating highways just like NASCAR tracks,
Wait ‘till their Judgment Day comes!
Yeah!

Now in darkness, wheels stop turning,
Vehicles crumpled, bodies burning,
No more Road Hogs have the power,
State Police have struck the hour,
Day of Judgment, God is calling,
On asphalt the Road Hogs crawling,
Begging mercy for their wrongs,
Sirens sing their mournful songs.
