Boars are not simple and they’re hard to slay,
so you must give some time to the prey fray.

Boars’ wits are not so slow,
so hunting them takes control.
You’d like to be on them creeping. . .
never sleeping, always peeping.

Strong is their pong, so get a fine canine
to help in tracking crafty, nasty swine.

When I open the oven door, after temp’s started to soar—
on the shelf, some roasted boar.

Boars with Chianti goes
and fava beans, Lecter-chose.
A nice meal you will be reaping,
in juice steeping, off plate leaping.

Stronger the taste is, but a strong divine;
so go pig out on swine and some fine wine.

When I cannot eat any more, I will have a cognac pour
to wash down that luscious boar.
