Gary - I think you may be not far off the mark on ol' Tarik, but I think he's been out of circulation too long to have known anything about Saddam's whereabouts at this late date. I'm sure ol' Tarik did not like what he had to do in later years being Saddam's mouthpiece but he was probably not given much choice in the matter. One of his son's who was given the name Saddam is no longer called that by his father who started calling him by another name as soon as Saddam was captured. His place in the card deck should speak for itself. If he was the deputy prime minister then why is he only the eight of spades and he did turn himself in right at the end of the invasion campaign.

I like this parody - well done and worthy. Nice work Gary and Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Gary - This one earned ya five stocking-stuffers. Especially liked the chorus - the flow of the syllables fit like a warm glove. Most excellent.

Tariq was effectively held hostage as his family was in Iraq. Anyway the Americans didn't capture Saddam. It was the Kurds.

thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone, this idea hit me last night, and i dropped everything scrambled to the computer to dash it down. i think further scrutiny may be required, but i like it. and I ran it through Corel Spell Check, and Grammatik, so there shouldnt be any complaints. gonna try to do some ratings right now probably no comments unless something hits me hard, but we know it will.. I really like the title..made me laugh a lot. The only part of the original I know is the chorus, so I can't really vote fairly on it. But I really liked the title a lot.
