What follows will make no sense whatever to readers who haven't also read a comment by “Mr Critic” and AFW’s response subtending the latter’s “Yesterday”/”Yesteryear” parody which appeared …well, yesterday (3/4/2008). Both for making sense of this parody, and for the pleasure of reading AFW's one in question, I'd recommend that all in of that remediation pursue it. :-)

I went back and checked this out. If I had to self-flagellate for every honest mistake I've made in nearly four years on the site, I'd be dripping in Leslie Gore.
Thanks, all. Actually, I'd like to think the comment by "Mr. Critic" was itself a humorously intended gibe, tho' a "real" amiright ID might have better clarified whether that were so. Shrug. My own goofs within and surrounding submissions -- both parodies and comments -- would, I suspect, by their very number dissuade any but the most determined nit-picker of the worth of pursuing'em. Accordingly, I view'em as a sort of protection. :-)

Pippin -- Yeah! Nitpicking bad. Mistakes good ... well, at least not always so very terrible. Still, despite that I don't "do" deities whose perfection my aspiration or pretension to same might offend, and despite that the errors they thus-mindfully include in their works are supposed to virtually undetectable to non-devine eyes, I'll maintain Navaho sand painter-wise that my boo-boos are all deliberate. (And that would include two I noticed postsubmission in this parody). :-)
