Rest in peace, John Mastrangelo, a.k.a. Johnny Maestro. The lead singer of the Crests (better known for "Sixteen Candles") and the Brooklyn Bridge (best-known song, "The Worst That Could Happen") died at age 70. One of the greatest doo-woppers/blue-eyed soul men ever. I saw him in concert 3 times. Great singer, more importantly a good guy. As he and so many others sang, "You'll Never Walk Alone."
