Melanie - I read this when it first posted and I could have sworn that I voted and commented on it. Nonetheless, I'm here now and this is just as cool as the first time I read it. It is surely a stone cold thing to do to give kids something to break their teeth upon. Sure hope you didn't get a lump of coal for Christmas. I guess this is what happens when kids take treats for "granite". This parody is excellent.

(ABC5I) Interesting take on a classic gag from Peanuts. It's a bit harder to relate here because Halloween isn't as prominent here in Aussie as it is in the US. But this still was pretty good. 555!

Stuart: In case you're not familiar with the old "Peanuts" (Charlie Brown, Snoopy, etc) Halloween specials on TV, one of the characters (Charlie, if I recall correctly) always got rocks instead of candy or apples.

I thought that it was very well paced, rhymed and written, but it seems really random to me. . .I don't know, I guess the end kinda explains it, but that makes the trick or treat part seem random--either way-fun read Mel. . .expertly written

Dave: You really need to see the "Peanuts Halloween Special" to understand this one, thankfully I have and thought that this one was all around silly in a great way! I've always loved this movie! Want to go meet me out in the pumpkin patch and wait for The Great Pumpkin?
