Typical political drivel that's bringing the site down. Neither funny nor imaginative.

Bella - wasn't trying to be funny. Sometimes I used this site to express opinions, sometimes I use it to express frustration or anger, particularly with regards to political situations. As far as being imaginative, perhaps not, since I'm writing about how I see things from my point-of-view, i.e., I'm troubled by the direction Trump is taking us, find his understanding of and reaction to issues wrong-headed, divisive, reckless, and ultimately harmful and potentially dangerous. You clearly don't agree and that's your right, too. As far as bringing down the site with politically aimed pieces I will say that I have considered that and agree that this site has been damaged because of it, but I also recall that there were lot's of very pointed political works posted here back in the last decade, many of which raised the ire of those who disagreed, often vehemently. and yet the viewer counts were regularly 500-600+ for most regular author's. I don't see why politically-oriented POV pieces shouldn't be posted. In the past they often inspired lively and interesting dialogues in the comment section.
