He's all crushed by my door

Boy, will he stink tomorrow
He's done
Now he's all mush and gore

Tonight
His damn stench will be strong

He got hit by some car
Perhaps
He was too hard of hearing
It seems
He did not hear that car

That's my best guess...
Did not see that car
Got splattered on highway
Smushed into road tar

A frightening sight
Head mixed with his paws
Now I'm ready to barf
from the smell
Yes, I'll heave - with good cause

Chunks I'll blow
As I stare at this goo
At this gawd-awful mess
That though parts of this possum I found
I will not find the rest...

Once I hurl
I'll feel better than this
In the can
Knelt on floor there to barf
That possum
All squished; looked like porridge
Because
He did not see that car!!!
