Very funny. Nice use of the original song. Like the line about "war for big oil". I hope that's the truth. What else is there in that Allah-forsaken part of the world worth fighting for? Problem is, when you fight for oil, you tend to set a lot of it on fire. Write your next satire about Hillary Clinton. You'll get a lot more comments.

Yes we should! As I recall the Clinton years were good. He left office with a budget surplus, which Dubya squandered in Iraq, creating the biggest mess in US history. Sure....why not...let's do it again! (PS: 3/4 of Jeb's campaign staff is George's old gang. You righties need to read the facts before you go off)
Jeff, you are seriously misjudging the right-wingers. First of all, as their beloved St. Ronald of Bel Air put it, "Facts are stupid things." Second of all, you want them to READ? There's an old joke. Republican 1: "Our people should read more." Republican 2: "If our people read more, they wouldn't be our people for much longer."

Besides being on target politically and logically, this excellent parody retains the hick tone of the original and subtly imputes it to Jeb (a supreme hillbilly name). Barb is right not to want another of her after-births in the White House.
