long distance destinations
see the men fish endlessly
bound to be a party
anywhere those fish might be
they're sure to catch a number
but i doubt they'll find 'em all
when the sun's out, they rent vessels
and they have themselves a ball

they seek information
'bout how high the tide will be
they'll be trolling on...with all their gear
these men fish endlessly
they're biting on the south side
to miss is sacrilege
if the boat is full
some people fish right off the bridge

good times upon the sea
as the waves go splashing by
we're ocean-bound...not up the creek
the salt gets in your eye
don't need no stinking charts
cause we know where fish will be
and if you're smart, you won't go home
cause men fish endlessly

its our recreation
guess we really got it bad
long as there is fish here
it is fun we will have had
fishing's for the young and old
doing what we please
hope there is a heaven
where the men fish endlessly
