The facts are out that Saddam not only allowed his people to go hungry. Fact: Saddam kept much of the money that was supposed to go to his people for food. Remember the 'Oil for food' deal. But Adam ( May I call you by your first name? I'll do it anyway) would rather ignor that and blame America. The UN in the last and many other resolutions had set deadlines to allow Saddam to avoid an invasion. But Aaadaaaam, would rather ignore and ask 'why must we fight' blaming America. What does Adam think now that the Iraqis are free and now able to express thier opinons about the proven Tyrant, Saddam Husein who's values derived from the writings of Hitler.
Great job. If you'll allow me to defend you to the alleged Poet and alleged Patriot above: Mr. Bernstein is not blaming America. After all, America didn't elect this guy. Mr. Bernstein has every reason to ask why we fight. And, as Scott Adams, creator of the comic strip "Dilbert," would say, Georgie Bush doesn't even respect the American people enough to give us a plausible lie. No one questions that Saddam is (was?) evil, but why go after this tyrant and not, say, one who rules a country without oil? And if you think the Iraqis are free now, then you probably also think that Oliver North is a hero, Bill Clinton belongs in jail, and those men wearing white coats coming toward you are Good Humor men.
Michael - I agree: I ain't sure that "PoetPatriot" actually read the parody at all. It certainly deserves better votes than the ones it's got

I believe history quickly proved me right and he wrong. Believe it or not I hate being right so much becaue it usually means things are bad.

If Saddam was still alive, Iraq would be a sovereign state and America would not have lost 1.7 trillion dollars and lost 4,424 lives with 31,952 wounded. No ISIL either. And 5 million Iraqis wouldn't be displaced. 70% lack proper drinking water, 80% lack proper sanitation. The nation is in ruins. Does anyone think the Iraq Wars were a success? How about the fight on terror?
