Isn't a "paper blog" oxymoron? Funnily enough, I have a "Crappy blog writer" half-finished (I've not had time to investigate enough crappy blogs yet... and there are some *seriously* crappy blogs out there). Anyway, very good, as always :-)

I got the idea by watching a young girl scribbling furiously in a notebook every thought that came to her head. I thought, don't young people do that online now where everyone can look at it? It's like cellphones today. The phone companies spent a lot of money constructing "booths" because at one time, people cared about privacy in their conversations.

Reminds me of a cartoon I saw years ago --- the title of the cartoon was "The Evolution of Small" --- first frame: a guy working on a mainframe-computer --- second frame: same guy working on a mini-computer --- third frame: same guy working on a laptop-computer --- fourth frame: same guy using paper and pencil.

Reminds me of a story I heard about Nasa engineers that spent a lot of research time and money on a pen that would work in zero gravity. After several failed prototypes someone suggested...er...why not just use a pencil? I think it's been space pencils ever since.
