I didn't get this from "Calling in Sick", although I was reminded of the song in the middle of writing it. The difference is, in this parody, the guy actually IS sick.

Ah, you guys are both just saying that cause Josh 2 is a jerk, and Matthias has a weird grudge against me when I informed him that there was no band such as 'Nine Doors'.
And to the people who gave me all 1's, at least you could have given 5 for pacing, seeing as it is FLAWLESS.
Did you listen to the same "Bob" by Weird Al that I am familiar with? This one is hard to follow.
I don't have the song in front of me, but it certainly doesn't read like "Bob"--it reads more like "Subterranean Homesick Bles" which was the inspiration for "Bob"....[10 minutes later] I pulled up the "Bob" lyrics on a website and flipped back and forth, line by line comparing them with yours. There are a few problems in pacing, particularly in the 2nd verse and the last verse. Oh well, you took the effort. 445
I think I see the problem I made here. The pacing was actually fine, but I did not write the lines the same way, which made it confusing. For instance, "I hope my boss will understand," is supposed to line up with, "Rise to vote, sir! Do geese see God?"
