I don't get it, but that doesn't mean I don't like it. So I voted a very neutral-seeming 333. I was caught between confusion and delight of the absurd, so I still thank you for the experience.

Hi, Jack "Local Celebrity" Wilson. You're getting better at this, and please understand that I'm not saying that because this piece is more "adult." I always enjoy your title concepts and you're getting better at sustaining the humor through the entire parody. I really like "inflatable" as a substitute for "you're beautiful," especially as a sub for the whole phrase and not just for the word "beautiful." I would suggest additional proofreading before you hit "submit" - that would ensure that all your line and paragraph breaks are in the right place so that your readers can see that your parody's flow matches the original's. But enough advice. Funny stuff. And the couplet "homecoming dance" and "helium romance" is grrrreat.
It was funny, but Iwas having a tad bit of fun with the pacing, and it could've been better, but I gotta say, brilliant Idea,5-5-4

I don't think the orignal song is that bad............ (see the angry mob start to form)... But this parody wasn't that bad either
(SOTM) Why do people hate James Blunt? He's one of the best singers out there today, which isn't saying much, though. This song was hilarious. The only thing that hurt it was the poor formatting, and pacing issues. Other than that, I would have rated it fives. 344
(SOTM) Yeah...the formatting was really hard to follow, and the pacing was iffy in places. But other than that, it was really funny. Nice job.
(SOTM) - Hmm, I like the OS more than this parody, but that's not saying much. The OS is brilliant as a classic way of saying: "in my mind you're mine but I just got an epiphany and I'm an idiot" kind of song. Oh, and there were some fantastic lines in this parody as well. I think I enjoyed that it was looked at by more than one angle which is difficult to do.

(SOTM) Ooch. I like the way you put up with that awful OS...but the end product could've used a bit more spit polish. Particularly the set out...and the main chorus line...and the rhyming in a few bits, but that's probably the fault of the setting out.

Seriously, does anyone do this IRL? As for the guy, I know American girls are picky and in spite of that they make bad relationship choices (drunks, drug users, gang members, etc.) Maybe he should come to Central or South America instead of getting an inflatable girl. More girls available here, and unlike their sisters in Texas they actually tend to like "gringos". Guess it's because all the Latin guys already crossed the Rio Grande? The parody was good, btw. --MM
