My dying mom was suckered into buying one of those while I was at work and we had to pay it off. I was so mad- went to K-Mart right after and bought a $150 Bissel that could do the same job for her home needs while that other hunk of junk weighed a ton and had no real advantage... and costed over $1k+!!!
I knew a guy who was going to start trying to sell these things door-to-door and was really excited about it, like he was going to "clean up" so to speak. I doubt if he ever sold a single one.
